Summary: Room was good, staff was helpful especially the lady at the front desk. And the hotel has a WhatsApp number which is good to call when one is traveling, in order to save on roaming charges. The one issue that I had with the hotel is that they would not accept Visa which made it very challenging for me to order anything, as I wasn't carrying enough cash. That has never happened to me in all my travels as most places take Visa Other than that, the hotel is also very close to the Central market and downtown area of the city, hence it felt a bit unsafer while walking around for non Surinamese tourists, having said that ... there's a great view of the city from the top of the hotel.
